Default allied npc/minion formation buttons

I searched the forums and found a few similarly related threads but not quite the same as this. What I would like to suggest is that there be a row up formation buttons to control allied npc's that are picked up along the course of a quest/mission, minions, and henchies. When i first starting playing prophecies i henched a good 2/3 of the quests because if didnt want to spend the time looking for a pug. Now with having beaten the primary missions and Shiro for Factions already i was forced to use henchies as there were rarely more than 2 or 3 other players in any area i was at. My one driving frustration was that everytime i wanted to skirt an enemy patrol or scout ahead the henchies would run along with or not follow as i needed them too. There are were also numerous times that while trying to rez my fallen computer comrades with finasse as their bodies were near aggro still, that the ones that either didn't die or i had already rezzed would run up and re-aggro everything, essentially wasting another 2,3, or even 5 minutes to re-rez them after they got slaughtered again.

I think a simple series of buttons to control your npc group would greatly benefit the game and the players. Nothing fancy just say: stay, attack, retreat, follow single file. Much like what was used the the classic and great Baldurs Gate. While some may say that giving control over Minions would be too powerful, i say: if we are supposed to believe that we have the power to harness the soul of a dead corpse and raise a hell spawn from it that is commmanded by us.... then we should be able to control if it attacks, stays or retreats.

The implementation of this i think would be fairly simple. Not every player would have the buttons to select the formation, that would be distasterous in a mixed pug/henchie team. The buttons would be active for the group leader of team, and when pushed the button would light up on other players screens, much like a skill would light up or go inactive when you equip a weapon that cant be used with it. Very simple and easy, but a much better system than what is currently in placean used my most players: "Please, oh Great Balthazar dont let these dumb henchies aggro that huge group of 15 lvl 28's over there."
